Personal Background

Welcome Home and Welcome to my Website!

A little about me ... I am proud to be a lifelong resident of Connecticut, but not foreign to moving, having resided in Waterbury, Stamford, Trumbull and finally calling Newtown home. I recently downsized - so I am personally accustomed to the challenges of sorting and moving. After graduating from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Finance, I worked as a real estate, probate and litigation paralegal for over 10 years in Waterbury and Greenwich. Having a deeper understanding of the legal process, my knowledge and experience will help answer questions in simple terms to my clients and guide them through the purchase, sale or rental procedure.

My husband, Angelo and his family owned Monica's Restaurant in Stamford. Our joke is that we fell in love over lasagna. After selling Monica's Restaurant, my husband and I owned and operated "What's Cooking?" in Fairfield for 10 years and then opened Sal e Pepe Contemporary Italian Bistro on South Main Street in Newtown in 2005 which has won many CT Magazine Awards. We feel blessed to be embraced by the communities we serve. Helping my husband with his businesses fortified my natural personality to be of service and strengthened my marketing and sales skills. In addition, I worked with Transitional Employment Unlimited, Inc. (TEU), assisting to bridge the unemployment gap for persons with disability and promoting State hiring incentive programs to Connecticut employers. This position bolstered my sales skills as well as my low key ability to connect with people. However, I enjoyed being a real estate paralegal and felt a calling. While others read or watch TV, I will search homes for my relaxation. I am thrilled to put all my experience, knowledge and skills together and work for you in something I truly love to do. I am a natural helper who likes to make certain my clients understand each step of the process and protect my clients' real estate investment.

I happily reside in Newtown with my husband, sons and pets. Besides spending time with my family, my joys and passions also include horse-back riding, Cape Cod, the beach, swimming, hiking, traveling and playing the piano.
